Our team successfully developed a cutting-edge IEP (Individualized Education Program) platform on AWS, purpose-built to enhance collaboration among educators, parents, and students. The scalable, secure microservices architecture was implemented using Java Spring Boot, with robust data integrity and advanced reporting powered by Oracle Database. High-performance, real-time messaging between services was enabled with ZeroMQ. For the mobile experience, we delivered intuitive apps using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, offering users accessibility anytime, anywhere. What sets this platform apart is seamless integration with leading school information systems – including PowerSchool, SameGoal, Skyward, and eHealth Exchange – ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability with existing educational and health records. Deployed entirely on AWS, the solution excels in reliability, elasticity, and cost efficiency.
